It starts with one sentence at a booster appointment.

At the booster
The vet asks Sarah, “Have you thought about who’d look after Biscuit?” Her follow-up email links to PetPact, in association with the practice.

Sarah names her sister Megan as Biscuit’s Guardian and records his routine. Megan says yes.

Whether Sarah is in hospital for a week or can’t care for Biscuit again, everyone knows who he goes to. And Megan’s first call is to people who already know him: you.

More than an emergency
The moments where vets get caught in the middle.
A microchip records who a pet lives with, not who owns it, and says nothing about what should happen next. A PetPact puts the owner’s wishes in writing, including anything joint owners have agreed between them, and confirms the person they chose has said yes.
